Sudden Joy, by Shahnaz Parvin
It was a rainy day in Sonargaon, the ancient capital of Bengal. There I saw these shy Madrasah boys waiting for their teacher. I tried to talk with them but they were busy hiding themselves. After few minutes they became so friendly and start talking, some from their class room, and the rest were laughing in front of my camera. This is the life of these children there; study in Madrasah (means school). There they learn how to lead a life with peace. Many of them are orphans, but a small occasion like this gives them a sudden joy.
