Punalu’u by Chad Larsen
This photograph was captured just after sunrise at Punalu’u Black Sand Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii, in May 2010. The contrasting of the lava formations and moss created for some amazing photos. This area is mainly know for its abundant amount of sea turtles that make landfall every morning, but when they do not arrive it allows for some great exploring.
