Shahnaz Parvin is a passionate Bangalee, and resides in Bangladesh. Though she is doing a job as system admin in a PSI company, her real passion lays in photography and learning it. Shahnaz mostly loves documentary photography, and loves to represent her country Bangladesh through her lens. Minh Nghia Le and his wife Mai Phuong Duong are two Singapore-based photographers. Photography has nothing to do with their daily job but it has become their passion for years. His main interests currently are street photography and portraiture, which certainly have influences on his other work in travel and wedding photography. His favourite quote is: “Well, I don’t believe in photography as an art or a job or anything. Minh Nghia’s photograph Paint with Light, in the category of Landscape Photography scored 66 (Value 13, Clarity 13, Composition 16, Style 12, Skill 12) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. Zahraa Al Hassani is a passionate photographer, and works as designer in Zain Telecommunications for more than 6 years. Graduating from the University of Technology Bagdad, her first job was at Wacther Company Ltd. as a graphic designer for constructions. A year later she joined Iraqi-American Chamber for Commerce and Industry. As senior graphic designer and photographer in Marketing Communication at Zain Telecommunications, she helps over submitting her consultancy to better enhance company image to be shown in elegant pattern. Zahraa’s photograph Topkapı Palace awarded in the Photo of the Day Award in the category of Architectural Photography, as it scored a solid 68 (Value 13, Clarity 12.5, Composition 17.5, Style 12.5, Skill 12.5) from our international jury of 5. Hmong Mother and the Child, by Ryszard Wierzbicki
Born in 1963, Ryszard Wierzbicki is a graduate of University of Gdańsk in Poland, and completed his master degree of Social Sciences in Children Care Education in 1992. He worked in an orphanage and four other companies, where he served the positions of Educator, Marketing Specialist, and Sales & Marketing Manager in various branches including child care, dentistry, orthodontics, and IT. Apart from his regular jobs he continued developing his Scuba Diving qualification resulted as an instructor level in PADI. Ryszard’s photograph Hmong Mother and the Child awarded in the Photo of the Day Award in the category of Candid Photography, as it scored a solid 68.5 (Value 13, Clarity 12.5, Composition 18, Style 12.5, Skill 12.5) from our international jury of 5.
