Cypriot Traditional Food, by Athena Constantinou
This food is a tradition, made in my country, Cyprus, a Mediterranean island with food influences from the Middle East as well as Europe. The food was prepared by my mother for a family feast and I had the chance to photograph it and expose it through my blog. It’s called, “Kolokithakia me avga” and is translated as fried gourgettes with eggs.
