El Tren by Ana Sylvia Encinas
Driving back from Cd. Obregón, in Sonora, northwest of México, I saw this train coming and thought it was a very nice sight. Got out of the car, approached the rails and shot. The train was very near to the sea. Empalme, México is mostly a fishermen´s town, and still a small old-west looking mexican town.

Stunning! Beautifully conceived, composed, executed. A common scene in Northern Mexico and in the Southwestern United States rendered with iconic clarity. On a personal note, it reminds me of many happy days spent on Mexican trains from
Nogales to Guadalajara and many points in between.
Well done, Ana.
