The Thrill, by Riasat Rakin

I was part of an adventure group going towards Nafakhum, one of the many beautiful waterfalls situated in Bandarban, Bangladesh. Due to heavy current, we had to leave the boat and walk by the shores quite a few times. During one of those times, three of the most adventurous among us Ratul, Apu, and Ifty couldn’t resist the appeal to take a dip in the river even with the risk of being washed away by the current. The thrill of adventure always beats the risks of it. And you know when you are young, you are always searching for such thrills and risks, because it is this that gives the soul a complete sense of liberation.
