When I posted this photo on Twitter, one of the first comments was: “this photo gives me hope for better times.” A young woman smiling and walking down the street without a mask. A person who shows that a smile is possible even in these difficult times. A smile costs so little and can give so much. A smile can make so many people happy, a smile can give hope. And there is hope, hope for a better tomorrow.
