Giorgio Mostarda

Giorgio Mostarda was born in 1967 and lives in Terni, Italy. Inspired by his father’s passion for photography, he began exploring the world of photography from a young age. He received his first camera, a Diana, as a Christmas gift when he was just six years old. Later, he learned the secrets of studio photography, still life, industrial photography, and the magic of the darkroom while spending time at Studio Caporali in Terni, where his father collaborated.
The region of Umbria, where he resides, provides numerous sources of inspiration, leading him to develop a passion for landscape photography. During his service in the Italian Navy, he discovered and was captivated by the sea, broadening his photographic horizons. Photography, travel, and the sea became the core components of his artistic career.
The transition from analog to digital photography was challenging, but Giorgio eventually mastered both techniques. He successfully completed a Master’s in portrait, fashion, and still life photography at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Terni. He further refined his skills at the Francesco Francia Photographic Studio and Brain Studios.
