When protests erupted in Syria in 2011, he felt compelled to document the unfolding events. By 2013, he began working as a freelance photographer, collaborating with international press agencies. His strong ethics, sharp news judgment, and unwavering commitment swiftly propelled him from a talented citizen journalist to a trusted professional and award-winning photojournalist.
