Air Show by Leanne Lindsay
The roar of the engines filled the air as I watched the Red Devils take to the sky at the V8 Supercars event at Eastern Creek! These pilots are incredible – the precision and coordination of their flight is truly awe-inspiring. I took this photograph as the team performed a tight formation. The red planes with their crisp white markings looked amazing against the clear blue sky. The trails of white smoke added a dynamic element to the shot, like brushstrokes painting a picture across the canvas of the sky. I wanted to capture the feeling of excitement and energy that filled the air during the airshow. It was a real treat to witness these skilled pilots perform their daring maneuvers, and I'm so glad I managed to capture a piece of the action!
Macaron Cones by Leanne Lindsay
The rain was drumming a relentless rhythm on the patio that afternoon, and I was starting to feel a bit cooped up inside. But instead of surrendering to the gloomy weather, I decided to turn it into an opportunity for a fun baking and photography session!
I've always loved the challenge and satisfaction of baking beautiful and delicious treats. On this particular day, I was craving something colorful and a little whimsical, so I decided to whip up a batch of these vibrant, rainbow-colored macarons - my go-to sweet treat.
While the sweet morsels were baking, I prepped my camera to capture them. I wanted to create a photo that was just as cheerful and bright as the macarons themselves. Using natural light filtering through my living room window, I arranged the macarons in waffle cones for a bit of fun and snapped a few photos.
Blue Rhodes by Leanne Lindsay
I never tire of this magnificent view. Rhodes just comes to life around sunset and the way the sun hits the building at sunset is just magnificent, making them appear to be made of gold. This photograph was taken right on sunset when the blue light was at its best, but the last hues of golden light were still visible on the buildings. If you are lucky, this lasts for a couple of minutes. on this evening, it lasted about 30 seconds before it was gone.
