Photographing a Photographer by Christopher Johnson

On the top of Mauna Kea, I had just arrived and was in the midst of the sunset, I was seeking some inspiration for a shot. Cold, shivering, the cloudless sky wasn’t working for a breathtakingly scenic, so I had to step back. To my surprise, I discovered the silhouette of another photographer shooting the sunrise. Without pause, I began shooting the photographer, which became my favourite shot of the trip – it is Photographing a Photographer.
