This picture is taken at a rainy early morning at the National Park Dwingelderveld in the Netherlands. This park is situated in the north east of the Netherlands and is know for its beautiful forest and heathlands. Every day a lot of people visit this park to take a walk and enjoy nature.

Ron te Burg is living in Nietap a smal village in Drenthe which is a Province in The Netherlands. Ron started with photography in 1991. From the beginning of his photo career he was fascinated by the beauty of the landscape. The beautiful lines and color of the landscape are a great inspiration for him. Especially the low light landscapes, the moments just before sunrise and after sunset are his favorite. He tries to reflect the feeling of that moment with good composition, intense color and light. The Dutch Landscape and the Dutch culture are his main subjects. Sometimes he travels to take pictures of the beautiful landscapes in other countries.
