Inside the Pantheon by Minh Nghia Le
This is the burial place in the Panthéon (Paris). By burying its great men in the Panthéon, including Voltaire, Marie Curie, Victor Hugo etc…, the Nation acknowledges the honour it received from them. Aside from this meaningful purpose, the architecture of the place was highlighted by the repeating curvature in the pathway as well was the lights on both side. This shot was carefully composed to bring out such beauty.

Minh Nghia Le and his wife Mai Phuong Duong are two Singapore-based photographers. Photography has nothing to do with their daily job but it has become their passion for years. His main interests currently are street photography and portraiture, which certainly have influences on his other work in travel and wedding photography. His favourite quote is: “Well, I don’t believe in photography as an art or a job or anything. I think of photography as a language and I think a language should be used to speak, to say what you have to say. So, the only things I have to say about my life and what I know about the world, is the way I see it.” – from Antoine d’Agata”

… I’m flattered by the compliment. Having my photo shown to a large audience in L&C is already an award to me :). Many thanks!
