Purple Sapphire, by Anup Kar

The Purple Sapphire (Heliophorus epicles) is a small butterfly found in India that belongs to the Lycaenids or Blues family. On my way to the core area of Buxa tiger reserve forest, I found some butterflies were flying beside the roadside. I stooped my motorcycle and went close to them, recognized the spices and capture two, or three shots, and this one the best.
