Photographing Daisy, by Kurien Koshy Yohannan

Some of the best shots of flowers are got when the photographer gets down to eye-level of the flower being photographed. Though in some cases a top-down approach is effective, in most cases eye-level shots create some pretty amazing results. That’s exactly what I did on a recent stroll in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, where I managed to photograph this Daisy in full bloom. Getting up close and personal with the flower tends to bring out features of the flower that may be lost to the viewer from a distance.
