Awe-inspiring Rays, by Munish Singla
Upper antelope canyon is a special place and considered spiritual by the Navajo. As per History The red you see in the canyon is Navajo sandstone. The canyon was made by the erosion of this sandstone, primarily by flash flooding. When the canyon was discovered, herds of prong-horned antelope roamed the area that’s why it is named “antelope canyons”. This photograph below captures the Sunbeam covered with dust pouring down like heavenly messages into main chambers of the crack. It is really important to start journey through slot canyons with right frame of mind this would allow you to experience what mother nature has to offer. It was, and is, a spiritual experience.
