A Different World, by Jana Z
A girl goes through the village in the hills of Annapurna conservation area in Nepal, where villages are cut off from cities and life has a slow and steady pulse. Children run around playing with simple things like rocks and branches and grown ups collect rice and prepare meals that will be eaten sitting on the ground. Their smiling faces reveal that they are happy with what they have and kids are not crying or demanding things. A different world for sure.

Jana Z began flirting with photography in 2010 when she realized that taking trips and walks are much more interesting with a camera in her hands. She had moved from Slovenia to Switzerland, and wanted to capture all the new landscape, nature and people that she had been meeting. Jana started with an Olympus e420, but later adopted a new pet, Nikon D700. She also loves playing the piano, traveling, learning new languages and baking.
