Phewa Lake, one of the most beautiful and majestic lakes in Nepal, attracting a large number of visitors who enjoy boating on its placid waters. It is a prime attraction for photographers, boaters and shore side strollers. One of the fascinating parts of lakeside is the splendid view of the mountains, especially when the still water reflects the peaks, creating a double image. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world can be viewed very closely from Pokhara. It is also a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit.
