On a cold autumn day, I was driving back disappointed from trying to shoot the lighthouse due to dense fog when suddenly I saw several elk near the road. I pulled over and crept up slowly to this magnificent animal and am forever changed.

Her passion for photography goes back 25 years. She has been awarded for her abstract, wildlife, dance and travel photography by Eden Arts, UK, Momentum: Images of Dance, CT., Art Scene Today, Art Slant and Projekt 30. Laria is co-owner of a portrait studio called City of Angels Headshots. Her exhibits include, Group shows at PhotoPlace Gallery -Vermont, Grooveworx Gallery-Santa Monica,CA. Linus Gallery-Pasadena, Peace Project traveling exhibit (Galleries in 6 US cities), Whole 9 Gallery-Culver City, CA., 1650 Gallery-Los Angeles. She currently resides in the arts district of downtown Los Angeles.
