Definition of Perfection, by Soumya Geetha
This picture was taken at Pottery town, a very famous area for the pottery work in Bangalore. There you can get anything from everything. Once I arranged a photo walk with my fellow photographer mates around 6:30 AM in the morning. It was Sunday, even though many informed us it would be closed, we wanted to try our luck. And when we reached there, nothing was happening. We strolled for 30 minutes and when we were about to leave one of my friends who knows their language talked to them. They invited us inside; in a not so bright room, where we met a person who was making these beautiful vases. Talking to him we learnt, he has been doing this for last 16 years, and as the season carries so has the work. Humble by heart and perfectionist by hand, educated, still helping his father in business. It was a pleasure for us to meet him. He did really make our day.

I am in love with your image of a working hand. The lighting, the large aperture to blur the unnecessary. I try not to use over 300 ISO whatever the light reading but it certainly is a splendid image.
