Mohammad Saiful Islam was born on 23rd Febuary, 1984 in Bangladesh. After completing his Secondary and Higher Secondary Education he joined Bangladesh Army as an officer in 2005. Beside photography, he loves traveling. He has traveled in many places around the world and explored lives of people including Africa.
He got into vast arena of photography in the early 2011. Since the very beginning, he was interested in photographing the diversity of human lives from different perspectives. Besides, he also photographs nature, people and the lives on the streets. He loves working in both color and monochrome.
In his short carrier as a photographer he achieved recognition from national and international organizations. His photos have been exhibited in many exhibitions in Bangladesh. He got honorable mention in the Biggest Photography Contest in Bangladesh “Celebrating Life Photo Contest – 2012. He was a finalist in “CGAP Photo Contest – 2013. His photo was shortlisted in “Click a Smile Photo Contest – 2013″ organised by “The Akshayapatra Foundation” as well. Besides all these his numerous photos was featured in many national newspapers and in yearly calendars.
