A Young Tribal Girl, by Shahnaz Parvin

In the hill tracks areas of Bandarban, where the border of Bangladesh about to end you can find many small tribal villages spread throughout the valleys. In one of those villages located high above the foothill, I saw this beautiful young tribal girl feeding her chickens beneath an aged tree. Not only these girls go to school but they also take care of their household chores and feed their animals. And when they do all these daily hard works, they always have their faces proudly painted with mud to show who they are and what tradition they belong to.
