Going through the Mist, by Shahnaz Parvin

For those who keep this country running with their hard work, weather is hardly an obstacle. Even on an early winter morning, they go to work through the mist. I took this photograph on Maya highway, on my way to Faridpur for making a documentary. That day it was full with mist, and I decided to stop for a while; saw them and took their photograph.

Shahnaz mostly loved documentary photography, and loved to represent her country Bangladesh through her lens. With the highest number of Photo of the Month and Photo of the Day Awards, Shahnaz joined Light and Composition as Contributing Photographer from March 2013. Covering upheaval, conflict, places, people, and culture, she was one of the top most contributors from South Asia until 2015.
