A Journey by Boat, by Shariful Alam

When I was in school I learned an essay named “A Journey by Boat,” where someone describes his travel from one place to another by boat. When I took this picture, I remembered that essay. I was traveling to Meherpur to attend a wedding ceremony, and while we were crossing the Padma River by ferry, I took this picture. A large group of people in a tiny boat. Actually I felt scared watching them, but I know they do that every day and that is their life. Journey of life in a boat.
