Amar Sonar Bangla, by Shahnaz Parvin
It was my nephew, who drew this. He was trying to draw the flag of our country, and his cousin, daughter of my brother tried her best to teach him our national anthem, which I had written there. Seeing them, I missed my childhood, my school days, especially those early mornings in the school, when we had to stand in line and sing our anthem – Amar sonar Bangla, Ami tomay bhalôbashi (My golden Bengal, I love you.)
