Standing on the Platform, by Shahnaz Parvin
I was standing on the platform at a station somewhere in Kolkata, whose name I can not remember, but I was there for going to a place name Kosba. At the last moment I decided not to go as there were too many people on that local train. I was observing, and this Hindu priest was among them. I didn’t know his destination, but he was looking pale, maybe worried for not getting into the train and not reaching his place on time.
