Front Door, by Claudio Bacinello

This photo was taken in the small town of St. Onofrio in southern Italy. The homes are very simple and it’s common for people to sit outside their front doors in the evening talking with neighbors and passers by. The chair in the photograph appears to be a permanent fixture outside the front door. I liked the color contrast of the wooden chair and green door and moved in tight for the composition.
