Spark of Life, by Claudio Bacinello

This image is one of a series of close-ups I shot of Pink Diamond Amaryllis for fine art prints. I explored different angles and focal lengths and finally saw the striations seeming to emanate from a common source in this extreme macro. The pattern looked like energy flowing from a small point and expanding throughout the image – hence the title “Spark of Life”.
