Trekkin, by Stephen Chu

I lead a group of photographers to this area of downtown Raleigh for some shooting one summer by the train tracks. The entire area is slated to be redeveloped in a couple of years as part of a revitalization project with a new train station. Walking along the rails I noticed these bright blue, what I think were part of the rail attachment system, starkly contrasting pieces of steel within the rails that begs to be shot. I wanted the steel to stand out and focused on the blue with everything else in a blur thus the aperture of f1.4.
