Figs and Dreams, by Athena Constantinou

This is one of the first photos I have taken as soon as I got a camera, without knowing near anything about photography. I remember visualizing this photo, on a summer month where figs comes to a plethora in my country, Cyprus and I desperately wanted to shot it. Then natural light and basic functions of my camera where not in my knowledge, so one afternoon, with the slightest natural light I created this photo and shot it. Still some people who really understand photography said to me that this is a good photo if only I would have crop it a bit. “Old photos can still be good photos Athena”. Well not sure if is a good photo, but sure I like it and I learned a lot from this photo!
