The Old Man, by Thomas Lianos
In central square of old city of Warsaw, from time to time there is this old man who performs his music to collect money. Strange figure, always smiling never talking to pedestrians. He accepted me approaching with my camera and taking his picture. He was patient enough to allow me to take some close shots, I guess he was enjoying the process. His clothes coming from the past, old but very clean and carefully selected. Nice figure, very original…

Thomas Lianos is a Greek, living and working in Warsaw Poland. Photography is not his main profession, but it is his big passion. Started with a Russian Kiew camera 30 years ago as a teenager, he continued with his first Olympus OM10, and then moved to digital photography few years ago with Nikon gear. His interest is mostly in street photography, architecture, and landscapes. Spending most of his free time on trying to get the proper scene and light. For many years he considered photography as a very personal issue, then recently decided to publish some of his work, created his photography page and posted photos in dedicated sites seeking the opinion and reaction of public.
