Beauty of Bosphorus, by Ferzan Turan

The Bosphorus Bridge has great importance to Turkey. It runs through the heart of Istanbul, connecting Europe and Asia. The bridge was completed on October 30th, 1973. The Bosphorus Bridge had the 4th longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1973, and the longest outside the United States. It is the 19th longest suspension bridge span in the world.
