Seoul Lights, by Dimitrios Zavos
On my last evening in Seoul and the temperature way below freezing, it seemed like a really good idea to walk to the top of Namsan mountain to get an overview of the city by night. The view was spectacular, but to capture this 20 second exposure (and a few more later on) I had to use my jacket as support for my camera and lens… It wasn’t pleasant, but at least I got the photo I was looking for.

So, this is the country where my uncle Donny gave his young life. He was decorated a hero, posthumously, at age eighteen. Seoul has soul; nor does it look dangerous to me! What a zephyrean, idyllic scene! Thank you!
Hello Robert. What a fantastic comment to make and a sad, yet beautiful story to share. Thousands of young, brave men perished during the Korean War, but they will live forever in the memories of their families and loved ones. Let us pray that the Korean peninsula will not be scarred by more conflicts in the years to come and that wiser minds will prevail. It would be a tragedy for the people who are some of the most polite and warm I have ever met in my travels. Thank you so much for your beautiful comment.
