A Street Photograph in India, by Kristian Bertel
This photo of an Indian man was taken in Dharavi in Mumbai, India. “When I photograph people I always focus on the eyes to get the details, I normally say that it is the eyes that tell you everything about a person’s story, this is what I want to portray in my work. I’m also aware of the light on my subject either indoor or outdoor like with this street photo in India and always look for the most natural lighting I can find.”
