Longhorn, by Tisha Clinkenbeard
The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge is a great, hidden gem just outside of Lawton, Oklahoma (southwest Oklahoma). The beauty of the over 59,000 acres that are home to buffalo, longhorn cattle, elk, and deer provides an immersion in nature for the visitor. This longhorn was enjoying the peace of the afternoon as I wandered through the Refuge.
