Talimena Drive in the Fall, by Tisha Clinkenbeard

Each year in the fall the highways between Talihina, OK to Mean, AR draws motorcyclists and drivers from around the nation to view the gorgeous scenery of the fall colors. The 54 mile National Scenic Byway stretches along Oklahoma State Highway 1 and Arkansas Highway 88. As my husband and I rode the byway on our motorcycle we saw the winding road stretching out in front of us in the Scenic Winding Stair Mountains.
