Glazed Zucchini for a Snack, by Rasha Rashad
I was learning a basic cooking technique; “Glazing”. It depends on boiling the vegetables with the addition of a little amount of sugar and some butter which makes them literally shine. That makes it a really good material for food photography specially when you have a styling assignment. The dish is as delicious and tasty as it looks… The setup was home made as well, I don’t have much of a natural light anymore in the city so I had to use a soft box, a white card and a reflector to get this result.
