Flowers at Safety Harbor, by Jerry Caruthers

Hand held shot near the safety harbor pier, where you can find the beautiful waterfront, boat docking facilities, a covered pavilion, and benches to enjoy the beautiful bay. I was using my Nikon 18-200mm VR in this shot. I was surprised how well it came out, the wind was blowing and the flowers were moving.

Jerry Caruthers lives in the USA, and has been shooting off and on for about three years now, as he really enjoys photography. Jerry started with a Nikon D60, and then to a NIkon D300. He now uses a Canon 5D Mark II. His goals are to continually work on his skill and composition. He is not a natural artist, as he has to think about the shots. He hopes to get into some freelance work here to start that journey, and would love to travel the world and be a professional photographer.
