Land of the Long White Cloud by Farhat Memon
This is my first visit to this part of South Island, and perhaps there will be many more. I have at this location just as the sky was beginning to change colours. I have yet to see such deep red skies anywhere else in the world. This was perhaps the most stunning sunrise i have seen. I was lingering in the area post sunrise wondering which direction to head into when I saw this amazing long white cloud cover the top of this mountain and it was simply stunning to see it roll in and slowly roll out of the scene. I’m so glad I hung around debating my next move !
