A Deer in the Woods by Ashu Chawla

I feel blessed to live in a state where we have a bounty of wildlife-watching opportunities. I took this photograph of the deer at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. This deer crossed our path while we were driving. I kept loitering in the landscape, chasing it with my eyes and took the image when he started walking in the woods. It was an immense pleasure to be in the nature and allowing the near and distant wild to seep into us.
