Frost Mist by Marianne Vahl
This picture was taken last winter on one of the coldest days in January. Maridalen is a rural area in Oslo, with farms and also containing Oslo´s drinking water source Maridalsvannet. When the warmer river water comes out in the lake meeting the colder air, you can on very cold days observe like here, the magical and beautiful phenomena of frost mist. That being out taking pictures on this very cold day made me sick is another story….
