The Sense of Light by Everton Marcelino

The end of the day can be viewed in two ways: with hope or longing. Hope comes because we know that tomorrow will bring sunshine again and the brightness in the eyes of children, lovers, and dreamers. The longing on the other hand is brought by the memories of what we live on the day that ended. Between hope and longing is the light, giving meaning to our living.

Born in Brazil, living in Florianópolis, an island full of magic and magnificent nature, has as its main source of inspiration the life of seafarers, artisanal fishing and their artifacts or work tools. It makes his look the mirror of the works created by the Lord of the times, which his lenses capture in thanksgiving. Their eyes hunt for the light hidden in their emotions.
