The Days of Flying Kites by Shovan Acharyya
There are many kites that can be found in the blue sky in the month of September and October. Along with children people of different ages enjoy it. Kite was invented in China about 2,800 years ago. Later it spread to other countries in Asia – Bangladesh, India, Japan, and Korea. Now it is available all over the world. This photo of the golden hour has taken from a rural area of Sunamganj. In general, it is very rare to see any children flying kites nowadays. Because technology took over our childhood. children are now spending most of their time with cell phones or games or other technology. Children become less creative because technology does the thinking for them. Child obesity and diabetes have become a national epidemic in the United States and Canada, due to the lack of exercise children get in their daily lives. Instead of going outside and doing physical activities. after all, I wish our children must spend some time without technology before it’s too late.
