Up Close and Personal with Mount Cook by Farhat Memon
Lake Matheson on the West Coast of South Island New Zealand is fascinating and beautiful. Promising pristine reflections almost all day long all year round, this gorgeous lake attracts tourists from all over the world. I was on a scouting trip to the lake, being my first time here and I needed to understand the terrain and locations for a sunrise shoot. Thus, I was walking with just a few lenses but without my tripod. Now even though the sunrise images are stunning, this particular shot is close to my heart as it depicts the beauty of Lake Matheson under such a moody and gloomy sky.
