Sunlit Shadows by Karthick Saravanan
During the photo walk session for World Water Day on March 22, 2023, in the city of Chennai, we visited the century-old waterworks at Kilpack, inaugurated in 1914, which stands as the oldest heritage site in India. In the early morning light, we patiently awaited the sunrise to capture this striking image using the monochrome mode’s sunrise shadow feature, showcasing the timeless beauty and historical significance of this iconic landmark.

His work continues to captivate and resonate with viewers, serving as a testament to the enduring power of black and white photography in capturing the essence of life.
