Lonely Man by Arif Hossain Sayeed
On a visit to Brahmanbaria, a place I had traversed countless times, I stumbled upon a scene that had remained unchanged, yet profoundly captivating. Along a familiar road, a man was seated by a small window, gazing intently at the earth beyond. His face was a tapestry of countless stories, etched with lines of wisdom, hardship, and contemplation. Though I hadn’t initially planned to photograph him, the depth of his expression and the silent narrative it held drew me in. In a spontaneous moment, I lifted my camera and captured this poignant image, encapsulating the timeless essence of a man who seemed to hold the weight of the world in his gaze.
