This was when I had just gotten my new phone and was exploring the different features. The photo was taken using the Macro setting on my phone, and what I loved about it was how each color seamlessly blended together so well. This photo marked the beginning of my journey into the fascinating world of mobile photography.

There is a junction of three streets near my home, Amsterdam Avenue, 162nd Street, and and St. Nicholas Avenue that I usually pass through on my photo walks. There are always interesting people and faces to photograph in this area. There is a subway stop and a small unnamed triangular park. This woman was hunched over her walker just outside of a bodega on one of the corners. I just liked the peaceful her face, contrary to the hustle all around her.

It was a typical spring day in Brighton where one minute the sun was beaming down on us and the next sprinkling us with rain, I saw a group of exchange students walking down the pier looking very shocked that they had to use their hoods as the sun was glorious a few seconds before!
