The book "Poisonous Plants: A Guide to Identifying National Poisonous and Harmful Plants" by Jakub Mowszowicz inspired this session. Over the years, how did poisons become a favored tool in the hands of women? The session was shot in the summer on a meadow behind our house and in the forest. I used a Pentax 6x7 analog camera and Kodak Portra 160 film.
Just for fun by Leanne Lindsay
Luna Park Sydney is an historic theme park on Sydney's spectacular Sydney Harbour, frequented for generations just for fun. On this day, I had gone there to take some street photography photos as you can usually find some interesting characters there. This clown caught my attention - she has such a lovely, happy smile, so I asked her if I could take her photo while she spun her hula hoop. Of course, she said 'Yes'.
A Actions of Dark Shadows by Karthick Saravanan
In the hushed tranquility of early morning, atop a rooftop, a diligent worker meticulously tends to their task. With tools crafted from hardened wax, they deftly shift sand from one place to another, orchestrating a delicate dance of movement and light.
As the morning sun casts its golden rays, the worker's silhouette stretches across the rooftop, painting a mesmerizing tapestry of shadows. Each movement is choreographed with precision, a silent symphony of labor and dedication unfolding against the backdrop of the awakening cityscape.
In this monochromatic tableau, the stark contrast between light and shadow becomes a canvas upon which the worker's industrious spirit is etched. Their silhouette, bathed in sunlight, embodies the timeless beauty of human endeavor, a fleeting moment captured in the stillness of dawn.
