My wife and I were visiting a friend's ceramic studio in Brooklyn. I am always drawn to windows especially when they are well above our apartment floor home. I looked out of one of the banks of windows and was drawn to the pattern of the quantity of vents and skylights of the rooftop of the adjacent building.

She is a glutton, so when she heard that she was going to be filming a meal scene, she got hungry. We just got together and I'm still in a daze.

The photo was taken on an ordinary Friday evening from one of the Chicago bridges. The Black & White style of the photo illuminates the deep grey march sky. Light reflection in the river creates a dynamic contrast with the static sky. At this moment, you can understand the balance of life.
