I saw a lonely pigeon on top of a statue so cranked up the shutter speed ready for it to take flight when a male pigeon decided to come 'flirt' a little, luckily I was ready for the shot....

There are many mobile car wash trucks on the streets in northern Manhattan, especially Washington Heights. I came upon this boy, alone. I later noticed he was playing on his mobile phone. I thought it odd, but I found out his father apparently was working the car wash and the boy was biding his time waiting for him.

During a walk through Barcelona, my city, my little daughter and I visited the most famous market in Barcelona, El Mercat de la Boquería. There were a lot of people, most of them were tourists engrossed in the amount of fresh products and takeaway food. It is a beautiful modernist and neoclassical style building, inaugurated in 1940.
